Daring Duck<\/strong> develops Online Adventures for teenagers that want more than being Online<\/strong>. We develop short introductions of Adventures<\/strong> like pioneering, navigations, cooking, and First Aid whereafter you can go out to see if you can carry out the presented Challenges<\/strong> by yourself. What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At Daring Duck, your information belongs to you<\/span><\/strong>. That means that we will never sell your personal information to third parties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When your register, you provide some personal information. We need that information to provide you with the right programs and to send instructions and equipment to you

In the Adventure APP<\/strong>, only the following fields can be visible to other people: Your Nickname<\/strong>, City<\/strong>, Country<\/strong>, Gender<\/strong>, Birthday<\/strong> as well as the name of your Club<\/strong> if you are registered with a school or club. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other information is only used by Daring Duck<\/strong> to send you messages, mail, or packages such as the Adventure Chest<\/strong>. If you are registered with a School<\/strong> and Club<\/strong>, then their teachers can also see this information. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Posting Adventures<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To share them with your Friends, or to show <\/strong>your Coach<\/strong> what you have done, you can post pictures and stories of your Adventures<\/strong>. When you post them, you have four options for privacy: Public<\/strong> (visible for all members<\/em>), Club<\/strong> (only visible for members of your club<\/em>), Friends<\/strong> (only visible for members of who you have indicated that they are a friend<\/em>), and Private<\/strong> (only visible for you and for your teachers or for coaches of Daring Duck<\/em>).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Pictures <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The pictures of your posts are stored in a very low resolution (360 pixels wide). That means that they can be seen in the Adventure APP<\/strong>, but the pictures cannot be used for large screens or used for printing.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Encouragements (comments) <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Only your coaches and members who are registered as your Friends<\/strong> can leave Encouragements<\/strong> when you post pictures of your Adventures<\/strong>. You can always remove somebody as your Friend<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Login<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

When you are logged into the Adventure APP<\/strong>, the APP <\/strong>will automatically log you in next time. That means that if somebody else uses the APP on your phone<\/strong>, they can post Adventures<\/strong> and Encouragements<\/strong> as of they are you. If are afraid that other people use your phone and post as you, then you can log out<\/strong> of the Adventure APP<\/strong> before you close the APP<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

E-shop <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For security reasons, we do not have any purchases in the APP<\/strong>. If you want to purchase something, you will be guided to our secure E-shop where you have to log on again. This is done to make the free Adventure APP<\/strong> available to as many people as possible, but still maximizing security to any members that want to get access to more Adventures<\/strong> or equipment.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

How long do we retain your data?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For members, we store your personal information in your user profile. You can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except you cannot change your username<\/em>). Our administrators can also see and edit that information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

What rights you have over your data?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are a member of Daring Duck<\/strong>, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us, including Adventures<\/strong> that you have posted, and Encouragements<\/strong> that you have made on the Adventures<\/strong> of Friends<\/strong>. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
