August is Adventure Month:
participate in Daring Duck’s Summer Adventures.
Since 2011, Daring Duck has welcomed every summer hundreds of teenagers to exciting outdoor camps. Many of them returned for a second, third or even fourth time to live a week in tents, to cook their own food and to obtaining real scouting skills.
Because we consider safety the most important aspect of our camps and not everybody is vaccinated yet, we decided to do no camps this summer. Instead, we created an exciting opportunity with which you can fully enjoy Daring Duck’s activities at home.
In September of this year, we start with our Online Adventures.
Every week, teenagers from all over the world can participate in exciting activities and obtain step-by-step skills varying from navigation to cooking and from pioneering to first aid. The Daring Duck classes are offered by schools and language institutes, but you can also follow them by yourself or together with friends.
Because this year we cannot stay together in tents, we have decided to make a special 2021 Summer edition of these Online Adventures.
Join our 2021 Summer Adventures
and for 5 weeks, every day,
you will get videos that teach new skills and
introduce you to exciting activities.
You will learn how to tie new knots and when to use them.
You’ll make maps and navigate with a compass.
You learn how to deal with accidents and how to perform first aid,
and of course,
you’ll make some nice food during some of these activities.
We also made a special 2021 Summer Adventure Adventure Chest. In this chest, you will find all the materials that you need to do these activities.
Your Adventure Chest contains ropes, wooden sticks, a big tarp, compass, first aid kit and lots of other treasures for your 2021 Adventures.
There are three ways to join the 2021 Summer Adventures:
1) Join the Summer Adventures: (60 euro)
5 weeks of daily adventures
- Includes:
- The Adventure APP of Daring Duck
- Access to the 2021 Summer Adventures with every day new instructions and videos
- Post your photos and videos in your own blog
- Chat with other participants of the 2021 Summer Adventures
- Access to the courses until September 2021
- Continued access to your blogs, videos, photos and to your chat buddies.
2) Summer Adventure Chest: (120 euro)
5 weeks of Summer Adventures + Adventure Chest:
In addition to everything mentioned above, you receive Daring Duck’s Adventure Chest by post-delivery. The Adventure Chest contains the tools that you need to do the Summer Adventures.
- Your Adventure Chest will contain at least:
- 6 ropes in different sizes
- 4 wooden poles
- Elastic bands
- First aid kit
- Compass
- Map
- Tarp
- Throwing ball
- Frisbee
- 2 Signing flags
- Measure cup
- Chopsticks
- Instructions
- Special July Bonus: the multi-purpose Daring Duck Key,
a super handy tool that you will use for many years.
3) Get your own scouting coach (240 Euro)
With Daring Duck’s Get a Coach program, you get the 5 weeks of Summer Adventures, you receive the Adventure Chest at home AND you get your personal coach. Every week your coach will evaluate your achievements and discuss how to improve or present you with more exciting challenges.
